It takes madness and courage in this world to be hopeful, to seek beauty, to stay soft & to chose love instead of fear.
where did we go wrong-
Being so ashamed
of being alive.
Love is a lot like a toothache. It doesn’t show up on X-rays, but you know it’s there. When I first met her, I knew at that moment that I would have to spend the next few days re-arranging my mind, so that there’d be room for her to stay. You see, a man in […]Savage Love
More of you are reading, yet I am writing less.
I am grateful for your patience,
while my mind‘s a filthy mess.
However, I guarantee total authenticity, in return for faithfulness.
They may have to be rude, still they love,They might burden you, still they foster,They may scarcely acknowledge you, still they bless, they admire!! Since the very first day of schooling, a teacher holds every student’s hand as their own child’s. They make sure that school becomes a second home for all of us. They are the people […]Happy Teacher’s Day💞
The earth witnessed his majestic,
Pace along the shimmering streets.
How his head-held high-swaggered,
In the night’s twinkle from the lights.
He had thick dark glasses that covered,
His tire from a life of hiding all of it.
His full health of a solid mass of weight,
Dizzied in the wake of that love of old.
It was scary what a smile could hide,
He plugged to his musical symphonies
But floating memories clouded his will,
As hope wrestled with fear & weakness.
He gave in to a new kind of love,
Thus he ceased smiling with his heart.
Letting go of his longstay defiance,
The lengthy strain left him to give way.
Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Am Contemplating my blessings
As my birthday is here.
Thinking about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made me who I are.
~As she marvelled at his decorous works of art,
He drank in the sight of her pitch dark hair,
that fell behind her back in a sheaf.
The shade-giving trees could only bend to,
the melodies of the autumn leaves as they,
rose with the breeze to witness the eclectic adoration~
Between two sighs, I savoured,
Bliss from the ocean’s sound.
I saw the songbirds of the air,
Flapping away from my stare.
I Caught wind of the carnation, Their scent a crystal revelation.
Afar was a crashing waterfall,
Singing hymns upon its mighty fall.
I scrambled for my notebook,
And my pen savored the look.
My book drank from the ink,
As my eyes acted as the link.
That’s when I recalled the sky,
Painted the greatest art-oh my!
I gave in to the reverie and my
Soul wandered to heaven-sigh!
Indeed God wrote the best poetry, When fauna and flora gained entry.
In such a desolate place-excellence, Described better by his eminence.
In great aims and in small, our God, Was thoroughly earnest as our Lord. The sky blue waters, the constellation, The setting sun, the moonlit horizon.
All attesting to his love & splendour, Look at our bodies-so full of wonder.
The rich air swept to break the daze, But I arose anew & followed the haze.
The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again. I am glad to meet you all once more through this post on ‘Little Joy’s’ inspired by Sabasiddique.
She has an amazing blog that is full of inspiration and a serene vibe. When you want to unwind after a long day, the first little joy should be swinging by her space @sabasiddique
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for. I will therefore present my list of little Joy’s starting with what I do.
Meet my Little Joy's
Success is not a key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. I have known people who succeeded because they had a good time conducting their business. Later, I saw these people change as the fun became work. The business had grown dull, they lost all Joy in it and they failed! I love seeing young minds take in knowledge as I marshal them towards a better world with the skillset acquired. At the moment am a fulltime tutor enjoying my time with eager minds. To surprise you, am always learning too.
- Receiving a compliment from my fiancee
Nothing empowers me more than energy-giving and heartfelt compliments from the person I love.
- Knowing that God Loves me.
It is written that we love because God first loved us. Knowing he loves me more than I can comprehend assures me things will always be okay.
- Dropping my phone then realizing it’s fine
Sorry for deviating from the real stuff but I drop my phone a lot since most of my day is spent on young minds. My phone has survived more crashes than I can recall and you couldn’t be happier.
- Finally getting to pee when you’ve been holding it in for an extreme amount of time.
I know you know the feeling.
- A Tidy home that smells nice.
Cleanliness accompanied by good scents always boosts my moods.
- When you arrive at your destination just as the song comes to an end.
There is nothing as satisfying as listening to good music when on the go. Better still is listening to your favourite one just before a lighting the bus/cab to the end.
- Finding money that you forgot in your clothing.
This should have been number 1 but since I haven’t found money that I had completely forgotten lately, I decided to fix it near the end.
- Strong data connection
This is self explanatory..sometimes bad data connection can be worse than rejection from your crush.
- Deep conversations with kith and kins.
Human warmth brings immense joy especially at such trying times.I love laughing with others, expressing empathy, as well as sharing the same air and space with others.
Reading not only enables us to taste life twice but also time travel to other worlds. What could be more joyful than that?
- Creating art
I saved the best for last. Nothing impresses me as much as watching a work of art come to life.
Thanks for partaking in my life experiences. I love you all as you are part of my little Joys.
What do you consider as your little joys?
