The Little Joys

The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again. I am glad to meet you all once more through this post on ‘Little Joy’s’ inspired by Sabasiddique.

She has an amazing blog that is full of inspiration and a serene vibe. When you want to unwind after a long day, the first little joy should be swinging by her space @sabasiddique

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for. I will therefore present my list of little Joy’s starting with what I do.

Meet my Little Joy's

• Teaching

Success is not a key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. I have known people who succeeded because they had a good time conducting their business. Later, I saw these people change as the fun became work. The business had grown dull, they lost all Joy in it and they failed! I love seeing young minds take in knowledge as I marshal them towards a better world with the skillset acquired. At the moment am a fulltime tutor enjoying my time with eager minds. To surprise you, am always learning too.

• Receiving a compliment from my fiancee

Nothing empowers me more than energy-giving and heartfelt compliments from the person I love.

• Knowing that God Loves me.

It is written that we love because God first loved us. Knowing he loves me more than I can comprehend assures me things will always be okay.

• Dropping my phone then realizing it’s fine

Sorry for deviating from the real stuff but I drop my phone a lot since most of my day is spent on young minds. My phone has survived more crashes than I can recall and you couldn’t be happier.

• Finally getting to pee when you’ve been holding it in for an extreme amount of time.

I know you know the feeling.

• A Tidy home that smells nice.

Cleanliness accompanied by good scents always boosts my moods.

• When you arrive at your destination just as the song comes to an end.

There is nothing as satisfying as listening to good music when on the go. Better still is listening to your favourite one just before a lighting the bus/cab to the end.

• Finding money that you forgot in your clothing.

This should have been number 1 but since I haven’t found money that I had completely forgotten lately, I decided to fix it near the end.

• Strong data connection

This is self explanatory..sometimes bad data connection can be worse than rejection from your crush.

• Deep conversations with kith and kins.

Human warmth brings immense joy especially at such trying times.I love laughing with others, expressing empathy, as well as sharing the same air and space with others.

• Reading

Reading not only enables us to taste life twice but also time travel to other worlds. What could be more joyful than that?

• Creating art

I saved the best for last. Nothing impresses me as much as watching a work of art come to life.
