Poem

My Elixir

She saw me weeping

through the shelves,
of myself

the wealth of my story,
suppressed between

antique texts
& the wide array of words.
I didn’t have the courage

to extract,
she pulled me in

with her poetry,
across aisles & miles

lovingly,
caught my fears & held

me fiercely,
until I found my bravery

in my newly found elixir.

          1. Well you know what the Bible says my brother “Where two or more are gathered” sounds awesome. Our service was great too. Have a blessed rest of you Sunday. Love to you! Joni
