What Matters

WHAT MATTERS
Arise and shine all saints, it’s the day of worship
Be eager for today’s scripture, ye sheep
And I swear you will never be the same again
Don’t you desire to buy without having to bargain?
Lay down your possessions for he provides without measure
So let everyone come to the alter and not think of pledging lesser
Than you have been blessed with, holy mass
I challenge you into making a beautiful temple, for once

The congregation wonders what really matters, clergy
They are all craving for a power they need to reckon with
Yet you ignore their needs and focus on yours, oh clergy!
Lets focus on ‘what matters’ to begin with

The service lags in meeting the needs of the tired and weary
As it fastens to ensure that it catches up with other churches
Their stories inspiring but to no avail does holiness and mastery
Of God’s laws cross the saints’ mind and that’s why these churches
Get stuck in their accustomed mess no matter how attractive the gospel is
I think temples need redemption, over the much sought after provision
They habor great pains hoping for a day of a miracle, but end up vis a vis
With crafty teaching sand misleading assertions_malnutrition!

The congregation wonders what really matters, clergy
They are all craving for a power they need to reckon with
Yet you ignore their needs and focus on yours, oh clergy!
Lets focus on ‘what matters’ to begin with

So starved are the loyal givers of the bread of life that proves too elusive
That there comes counterfeit denominations to add to the rising divisions
They are left to experiment on the credible doctrine that is exclusive
As ‘God is omnipotent’ loses its meaning with need of an intervention
I am one of them and I believe all things will work for good
For those who love God and are called according to his purpose
Its high time saints sought out the foretold spiritual food
Lest our zeal for God, without knowledge turns to be of no purpose

The congregation wonders what really matters, clergy
They are all craving for a power they need to reckon with
Yet you ignore their needs and focus on yours mr clergy
Lets focus on ‘what matters’ to begin with
